What Charity shall we raise money for?

On January 26th we are running our first ever Charity Cup for Rebound Beach Volleyball and we want our community to put forward submissions on what they would like the day to raise money for.

Over the last 19 years we have raised over $140,000 for various charities through Hardcourt Volleyball and Netball (under our old brand name CitySide Sports), and we are excited to bring the format to Rebound Beach Volleyball.

First, let us tell you about the event and then below we will give you a chance to submit a charity you want us to raise money for. All submissions need to be in by January 9th, 2026 and a decision will be announced on January 12th, 2026.


The Event:

The day will run in two sessions. An AM Session running from 10am to 4pm, and a PM Session running from 4pm to 10pm. A maximum of 18 teams will be accepted per session, with entry fees being $240 per team.

All money raised from registration fees will go DIRECT to the chosen charity. If we get the full amount of 36 teams, that is a minimum of $7,200 to be raised, with extra ways on the day (raffles, games with prizes etc) to raise even more money.

ALL EXPENSES are paid for by Volley+ and staff are volunteering their time.

Submit Your Charity/Cause:

We are on the look-out for a charity or cause that someone from our community might have a genuine connection to. Perhaps a family member or close friend utilises a charity or you, directly.

We are only choosing one charity or cause to raise money for, so please provide as much detail as possible so we can make an informed decision.

Your submission either needs to be for a registered charity organisation or for a cause that we can revify validity of (such as a GoFundMe).
